Dad and Mom's friend, Eric Mueller, was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Toledo on Saturday. Mom didn't think I'd survive the 2 hour ordination mass so I stayed with G & G Bockey.
The priest of Delphos St. John's, Fr. Mel Verhoff, lays his hands on Eric. All the priests that were there lay their hands on and pray for the newly ordained.
Next, the newly ordained are clothed with the liturgical vesture of their office: the stole and chasuble (Yes, Mom stole the wording right out of the program...she knows church terms, but not quite that well!)

I did get to go to the reception that evening back in Delphos. Mom, Dad, and I got our picture taken with Fr. Eric. Congratulations to all the newly ordained!
