Gabriella turned a year old at the end of July and we went up to help her celebrate! With so many people and super nice weather, we celebrated outside.

Mom says that most people pay good money to have donkey rides at their birthday parties. The big kids got to enjoy rides on the little donkey that Uncle Jake and Aunt Holly have. Jack was a little nervous about it at first so Jesse rode with him.
Uncle Nick and Samantha being goofy. The older cousins (like older than Gabriella and I) had a great time playing with each other.
Hmm....how many kids can go down the slide one after another? Jack runs into Heidi who ran into Jesse and Samantha!
Jack quickly warmed up to the donkey and got another ride and kissed the donkey. Mom said he had a great time. Grandma Meyer had also brought over the slip-and-slide so many of the kids had a good time playing in the water!
Nothing like a kickball game at dusk! Jack and Jesse played with some of the uncles from both sides of the family while the rest of us had a good time watching them.
