Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, MI July 31st

After climbing to the to of the initial sand dune, we had some relatively flat sand to walk on. Some nice guy took a picture for us! As you can see, I rode in the backpack most of the time.

If you look close at the right side-upper part of this picture, Mom drew a horrible circle with the paint brush feature in one of the picture editing programs on our computer. She probably could've done a better job but didn't want to waste too much time on it. Anyways, in the horrid circle is the part of the sand that we initially climbed up.

While we were taking a break, Dad took some pictures of the dunes.

Mom tried to get me to look at Dad for a nice picture of the two of us, but I was not in the mood to look at the camera.

On the way back down, I got tired of the backpack and needed a break, so Dad and I played in the sand. After that, they held my hands as we walked back down the big dune. I had a GREAT time walking down the hill!
