Early June happening included Maria learning to roll over! She can go from her back to her belly, but since she learned to do it on June 1st (or somewhere around there) she hasn't had a whole lot of interest in doing it again.
Hi Mom. This is her favorite way to lay...feet up in the air. Usually her hands are hanging on to her feet.
Jack got to help Grandpa Bockey plant corn. We weren't sure it was going to happen the way it kept raining, but Grandpa was able to get all of his corn in.
Jack was quite excited and still talks about planting.
It was really hot in early June and we spent a fair amount of time back at the pond swimming and such. One evening, the boys wanted to go fishing so Grandpa got the line ready and everyone got a turn.
Jack even decided to give it a try! Jeff reminisced about fishing on Lake Erie all day with his grandpa and catching only one or two the whole day. The fish in the pond are quite friendly apparently because as soon as the line hit the water, one would latch on. The kids will probably never want to go fishing anywhere else.
