We went to G & G Bockey's windbreak and picked out a Christmas tree this year. They told us that they're taking out the one row of trees in the windbreak this year to expand the field...or something like that. At any rate, if we wanted a free Christmas tree, this was the year.
Maria hung out with Grandpa Bockey as we examined the trees to get the "perfect" one. A lot of them in the windbreak are "Charlie Brown" looking so it narrowed the choices down.
Jack watches Jeff as he starts to cut down our tree! It was fun watching Jack looking at the trees with Jeff and getting excited about the whole process.

"Oh Christmas tree, you are the best!"...or something like that. It was funny listening to him as we brought the tree in. He's at such a fun age. The excitement and wonderment (is that even a word? but you know what I mean) of the season is so fun to share with him.
