Pokagon Trip Part 2

Jeff  & Jack found a log that was the perfect "pirate ship".  This entertained Jack for a good amount of time and we all had to stop and check it out on our hike to Hell's Point Sunday morning.

The kids did fairly well walking at least some of the time while we were hiking.  Jeff and Maria were starting up the walkways and stairs to the top of the hill (called Hell's Point for those who've never been to Pokagon).  Maria has this look of "woah, we're going clear up there?"

Gma Meyer and Jack enjoying the view.

Maria was standing on the bench kicking her foot around and lost her shoe.  Luckily, Jeff and Jack went down to retrieve it.

Jack is in this goofy phase lately where everytime you try to get a good picture, he's either cheesy, squinty grin or sticking his tounge out.

The kids had to check out the little stream of water that was running under this bridge.

 Hmm...what's all down there?

It rained off and on in the afternoon and during a short dry spell, we packed up and then stopped at the nature center.  Apparently I didn't take any pictures there, but rest assured that not a whole lot has changed.  We enjoy checking out all of the animals and such.  We stopped at the playground close to the nature center and dried off a few things so we could play a bit before leaving.  Jack enjoy the tire swing...Maria? Not so much.

One final run down the hill to wear off some energy before heading home!
